Why soap and water? Your hands are your interface to the physical world. Everything you touch, everything you need to move, everyone you need to touch. You may think you know ‘where your hand has been’… But just imagine that on average you touch your face 2000-3000 times per day. What else have you been touching without noticing? Using wet wipes or sanitizer on dirty hands will simply smear the dirt around. Using soap and water is the best way to clean dirty hands before disinfecting. How to use:
- Remove plug. Lower the hose with your arm or wrist. Briefly wet your hands.
- Raise the hose to close water supply and apply soap.
- When ready lower the hose again with your arm or wrist. Rinse hands thoroughly.
- Raise the hose to close water supply.
- Take a paper towel and dry hands then dispose of paper in the middle bin.
- Apply hand sanitiser.
- When you have finished using the Shoulder Sink close the orange valve.
- The Shoulder Sink comes complete with one full roll of paper towel and refills can be bought from most good retailers. It also comes with three empty soap/sanitiser dispensers. Soap and sanitiser are not included.
To empty the bin simply lift the blue outer case and dispose of paper. Make sure the nozzles of the soap and sanitiser bottles are innermost when removing and putting on the blue outer.
Rinse through with warm water once a month. Do not release soapy water into bodies of water, lakes, streams etc.
