Stihl WSA 40 Battery Pressured Water Container Kit 1

The WSA 40 is a battery-powered pressurised water tank designed for automatically pumping water supply for your cut-off machine – without the need for manually pumping the water tank.

Designed for professional tasks in construction, civil engineering or landscaping, it allows the user to make clean wet, cuts when working by delivering a consistent water supply throughout the entire battery life. The water binds the dust particles and cools the cutting wheel during use. It’s also a great solution for working on sites that may not have a direct water supply.

Thanks to the AS 2 battery, the water tank uses the battery-powered pump head which constantly applies pressure. It has a funnel-shaped easy to fill 10-litre transparent tank with a level indicator on the container, so you can make sure you don’t overfill it too. It also comes with a pressure relief valve and 4 m water hose with standard coupling.

Fitted with a soft-grip carrying handle, it has a battery cover which provides protection from water, liquids and dust and is IPX4 rated – meaning it is protected against water splashes and can be used in all weather conditions. It’s easy to operate too – simply click the power button to turn the WSA 40 on, then adjust the pressure to your desired setting using the dial. A built-in sleep mode detects when the machine is no longer in use, or the container is empty, which helps to save battery life. A battery charge level indicator is located on the machine here.

Plus, the battery-powered pump head can be removed and combined with other tools in the STIHL range, including:

• SG 31 sprayer 
• TS pressurised water tank
• SGA 30 sprayer

Working time with the AS 2 battery is 30 minutes, which is the following amount of tanks:

• SGA 30 / SG 31 sprayer – 10 to 12 tanks of water
• WSA 40 / TS pressurised water tank – 5 tanks of water
