Dual Battery Adapter for Professional Blowers and Mowers
The Stihl ADA 1000 Double Slot Adapter allows operators to use up to two AP batteries as an alternative to AR backpack batteries. Designed for professional use, it offers improved balance, reduced carrying weight and uninterrupted long‑duration performance thanks to its automatic battery switchover system.
Lightweight Alternative to AR Backpack Batteries
With two AP 300 S batteries installed, the ADA 1000 weighs just 5.5 kg, significantly lighter than the AR 2000 L or AR 3000 L backpack batteries. This reduction in weight makes extended blowing or mowing far more comfortable, especially during long working sessions.
Automatic Power Switchover
The built‑in automatic transition system switches to the second battery as soon as the first is depleted. This ensures continuous operation without manual intervention, maximising productivity and minimising downtime.
Optimised for the BGA 300 Leaf Blower
The ADA 1000 is primarily designed for use with the STIHL BGA 300. When paired with two AP 500 S batteries, total machine weight is reduced from 16.9 kg to 13.3 kg, offering a significant improvement in comfort during long‑duration tasks.
It may also be used with only one battery for even greater weight reduction if shorter run time is acceptable.
Note: On the BGA 300.0 (earlier version), automatic switchover is not supported due to software differences.
