The Petzl PIXA Headlamp is a compact, powerful, and highly durable lighting solution designed for intensive professional use. Producing up to 450 lumens in BOOST mode, it combines reliability with practical design for maintenance, inspection, and industrial environments. With CONSTANT LIGHTING technology, the beam maintains a steady brightness level throughout use, ensuring consistent illumination even as batteries drain.
Built for Tough Conditions
The PIXA is made for demanding environments, offering exceptional durability and protection. It is impact resistant to IK08 standards, withstands drops of up to two metres, and endures crushing forces up to 80 kilograms. Fully dustproof and waterproof to IP68, it operates safely after immersion in two metres of water for up to one hour. The robust housing also resists several industrial chemicals, including alcohol, bleach, and mineral spirits, making it suitable for a wide range of worksites.
Versatile Lighting Performance
With three lighting modes and a BOOST setting, the PIXA adapts easily to multiple tasks. The wide, uniform beam offers clear visibility for close work. Two mixed beams provide balanced lighting for movement, while a focused beam ensures strong long-range vision. The 10-second BOOST mode supplies temporary maximum brightness for inspecting distant or detailed areas, giving professionals full control over visibility at all times.
Practical and Easy to Operate
Operation is simple with a single rotating selector knob located on the side of the lamp, allowing full control even when wearing gloves. The headlamp can be tilted up or down for precise lighting direction, while the battery indicator shows remaining power each time it’s switched on or off. When not in use, the PIXA locks automatically and rotates 180° to protect the lens during storage. The adjustable, washable headband ensures comfort throughout long shifts and maintains a secure fit on any head size.
Helmet Compatibility and Power Options
The PIXA includes a SLOT ADAPT plate for easy mounting on Petzl helmets with a slot, while also supporting the HELMET ADAPT adhesive plate (available separately) for wider compatibility. The lamp runs on three AAA/LR03 batteries (included) and also supports the CORE rechargeable battery with its HYBRID CONCEPT design, offering flexibility and sustainability for regular users.
