Its ingenious inner shell design distributes impact energy evenly across a wide surface area, reducing concentrated stress on the skull. The patented neck cradle system gently supports the nape of the neck, holding the helmet securely without a chinstrap. This feature also serves as an extra layer of protection, shielding the back of the head from impact and helping to prevent skull base fractures.
Ventilation and temperature control
The helmet’s crown features an adjustable ventilation slider that allows fresh air to circulate around the head. This system helps maintain comfort and reduces heat build-up during intense work. When closed, it protects against cold or rain. In the event of a direct impact on the slider, it safely detaches from the shell to redirect energy away from the wearer’s head. This clever ventilation design ensures both safety and comfort throughout the working day.
Comfortable interior and long-term hygiene
The internal KlimaAir padding on the crown, neck, and headband actively wicks perspiration away from the skin. This keeps you cool and dry during extended use. The pads can be washed at 30°C to maintain freshness and hygiene. For optimum performance, the interior support should be replaced every two to three years when used daily. Likewise, the helmet shell itself should be renewed every five years from the manufacturing date to guarantee continued safety.
