The Protos Integral Bluetooth Communication Helmet Mounted ear defenders combine clear wireless communication with the protective features of the Protos system. Because the Protos Integral Bluetooth Communication Helmet Mounted design works directly with the existing Protos ear defender bracket, it delivers comfort, safety and advanced connectivity in one unit. The helmet is not included.
Reliable Bluetooth Communication with Up to Four Users
The BT-COM system connects up to four units at the same time, creating a stable intercom link between operators. This setup allows uninterrupted conversation during demanding tasks, even when machinery runs nearby. Bluetooth technology keeps communication interference-free and avoids licence fees, which makes the system practical for daily use. You can also connect each unit to a mobile phone for hands-free calling throughout the workday.
Easy Operation and Comfortable Integration
The BT-COM capsule fits directly into the Protos ear defender mount with no wiring, drilling or clamps. All components sit inside the capsule, which removes the risk of snagging on branches or equipment. You can control the system with one multifunction button and two volume buttons. This layout allows simple operation with a single finger, even when gloves are worn. The electret microphone reduces background noise by up to 20 dB but still allows awareness of nearby sounds for safer working.
Strong Range and Long Battery Life
The BT-COM reaches up to six hundred metres in clear conditions, which supports efficient teamwork in larger work zones. The battery lasts up to twelve hours and charges through the Protos USB charging bracket. A full charge takes around one and a half hours, and the unit can stay in standby mode for several days. These features ensure the headset remains ready for full-day professional use.
