Maillon Rapide quick links, better known as the French quick links, are manufactured by Peguet family business dealing with hand screwing mechanical connectors
Based in the French Alps over 3 generations, Peguet provides a simple solution for every specific market requirement.
The follow up of the whole manufacturing process is providing end users reliable & practical products for every type of secured connection.
Peguet provides a wide range of Maillon Rapides in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, for every application from work at height, rope access, arboriculture through to event rigging.
The original oval shape was developed on the principle of a chain link fitted with nut opening. This very shape reflects the spirit of Maillon Rapide quick link connectors.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Maillon Rapides
Certified for use as PPE against falls from height in the work place and in mountaineering/climbing.
Manufactured in accordance with:
- EN 362:2004 Personal protective equioment against falls from a height – Connectors
- EN 12275:1998 Mountaineering Equipment – Connectors – Safety requirements and test methods
Unique Marking
During 2013 PPE certified Maillon Rapide quick links – EN 362 / EN 12275 have an additional unique number lazer etched on the locking nut. This will assist users who require individual marking for traceability in theirt own systems.
Then numbers are factory applied and randomly generated. It is not possible to supply items with consecutive numbers.
