The STIHL DuroCut Line Pieces are designed specifically for use with STIHL DuroCut mowing heads. Supplied pre-cut, these nylon line pieces combine a flexible core with a hard outer coating and cutting teeth. This unique construction provides high mowing performance while extending service life, making them an ideal choice for tackling tougher vegetation.

Unlike standard line, the DuroCut pieces are engineered to handle high, dense, and even slightly woody vegetation. The combination of toughness and flexibility means they deliver a clean cut while resisting premature wear, reducing downtime and the need for frequent replacements.

Available in three sizes

Each pack contains 48 line pieces and comes in three sizes to match different DuroCut mowing heads. Size L features 2.0 mm line with a length of 195 mm, suitable for DuroCut 5-2 and 20-2 heads. Size XL provides 3.0 mm line with a length of 185 mm, compatible with the DuroCut 20-2 and 40-4 heads. For maximum cutting power, Size XXL offers 4.0 mm line with a length of 215 mm, designed for the DuroCut 40-4 head. This variety ensures you always have the right option for your specific machine and task.

Practical tip for longer service life

To extend the working life of your line pieces, STIHL recommends soaking them in water for 12–24 hours before use. This makes the line more flexible and less likely to break, giving you longer-lasting performance in the field.
