The Protos Integral Ear Defenders Helmet Mounted system provides reliable hearing protection with a noise reduction rating of SNR 26 dB. Because the Protos Integral Ear Defenders Helmet Mounted design fits directly inside the Protos helmet shell, the units stay secure, streamlined and free from snagging while you work. The helmet is not included.
Adjustable Fit for Personal Comfort
These ear defenders offer several adjustment points so you can create a personalised fit. You can fine-tune the contact pressure by using the red dial on the inner side of each defender. The ear cups also slide up and down on their bracket arms, which helps you position them accurately over the ear. This flexibility ensures balanced pressure and stable protection throughout long working days.
Internal Mounting for Practical Use
The ear defenders sit inside the shell of the Protos helmet. This internal design prevents snagging on branches or equipment and keeps the profile compact. When you do not need hearing protection, you can park the defenders inside the helmet. This position allows air to circulate and helps the pads remain dry. The movement is simple, and the mechanism supports quick switching between protected and parked positions as work conditions change.
Easy Maintenance and Long-Term Care
Each set includes one left and one right ear defender, complete with absorption inserts and support pads. Replacement hygiene kits are available, and the components are easy to install. To maintain optimal protection, replace the absorption inserts every two to three years. Replace the support pads every six months if you use the defenders daily. These steps help the system maintain its certified performance level over time. The product meets the EN352-3 standard for helmet-mounted hearing protection.
