Different hands, same commitment to quality — the Splice City crew keeps the craft alive.

Today we’re spotlighting Andrew Finch — a quiet powerhouse with serious dedication to his craft.

Andrew began his journey right here in Splice City, learning the ropes (literally) from the ground up. With patience, perseverance, and a constant drive to improve, he’s progressed to producing precision splices for Rope Logic products — a milestone built on skill and hard work.

Since starting his splicing journey back in September 2025, Andrew has absorbed knowledge at every step, growing into a skilled and trusted member of the team. His favourite rope to splice?

🧡 The Sterling Kraken 19mm — the beast.

Andrew is also certified and trusted to splice PPE-rated ropes from leading brands such as Yale, Teufelberger, and Donaghys.

He’s currently training and working towards adding Drenaline, Cousin, and Courant ropes to his PPE splicing capabilities — a challenge he’s tackling with the same dedication and focus that brought him this far.

Outside the workshop, you’ll find Andrew exploring caves, diving underwater, and chasing adventure wherever it appears. Above ground, below ground, or beneath the waves — his curiosity runs deep.
