A growing team, all united by the same pride in perfecting every splice that leaves Splice City.

Today we’re spotlighting Andy Bartlett — fairly new to the splicing game, but far from new to the world of rope.

Before joining Honey Brothers in February 2026, Andy spent 11 years in the Super Yacht industry working in engineering — often found on deck splicing lines, maintaining systems, and occasionally driving tenders across the water. Rope has always been part of the job… now it’s part of the craft.

These days, Andy focuses on producing and perfecting Rope Logic products, sharpening his technique with every splice and bringing years of precision and discipline from the marine world into Splice City.

Outside of the workshop? Andy is a competitive darts player and a full‑on sports enthusiast — climbing, hiking, golf, squash, tennis, snooker…

If it involves using your hands, he’s probably into it. 🎯💪

Different hands, same commitment to quality — the Splice City crew keeps the craft alive.

Today we’re spotlighting Andrew Finch — a quiet powerhouse with serious dedication to his craft.

Andrew began his journey right here in Splice City, learning the ropes (literally) from the ground up. With patience, perseverance, and a constant drive to improve, he’s progressed to producing precision splices for Rope Logic products — a milestone built on skill and hard work.

Since starting his splicing journey back in September 2025, Andrew has absorbed knowledge at every step, growing into a skilled and trusted member of the team. His favourite rope to splice?

🧡 The Sterling Kraken 19mm — the beast.

Andrew is also certified and trusted to splice PPE-rated ropes from leading brands such as Yale, Teufelberger, and Donaghys.

He’s currently training and working towards adding Drenaline, Cousin, and Courant ropes to his PPE splicing capabilities — a challenge he’s tackling with the same dedication and focus that brought him this far.

Outside the workshop, you’ll find Andrew exploring caves, diving underwater, and chasing adventure wherever it appears. Above ground, below ground, or beneath the waves — his curiosity runs deep.
