Objectives of the design were to make a trouser that could be comfortably worn in all seasons. As the Japanese summer is hot and humid, a lightweight trouser that was comfortable to walk and climb in was the most important factor.
The trousers shape takes inspiration from traditional Japanese Gardeners uniform and has a roomy thigh and slim lower leg, allowing unrestricted movement and easy use of foot ascenders.
There are no upper pockets and combined with a deep crotch ensures that pinch points from the harness are eliminated.
The trouser has been designed so as not to hang heavy on the waist, the cut accentuates the lightweight (1004g) feel.
Features include: sweat pant style waist, rear ventilation zippers, thigh pocket, lower leg zipper with mesh, ankle cuff size adjuster, lace hook.
Tested and certified to EN ISO 11393: PROTECTION AGAINST HAND-HELD CHAINSAWS.
