Description
The FTC wedge has been designed for tree topping or rigging in tree care. It can be tied to the harness with a dyneema sling. It helps felling a tree in the right direction.

Performances:
It is light, a perfect wedge for top removal or other felling works. The centre grooves on each side lend a directional stability in the wood and prevent the wedge from slipping sideways. The scales around the centre grooves prevent the wedge from jerking backward.
Can be fastened to trousers or a harness with the dyneema string. This is replaceable if cut.
Using it will prevent the chainsaw chain from getting stuck between tree sections while felling, topping a tree or cutting it in sections. It’s large base ensures good stability when starting to strike.
It is made of polyamide plastic with high tenacity, very resistant to crushing and breaking. It is nearly unbreakable but will not damage or blunt chainsaw chains. It’s azure blue colour makes it easy to spot among dead leaves.
